Al-Braze® EC Aluminum Brazing Flux 1/2 lb. Jar
Al-Braze® EC Aluminum Brazing Flux is a premium powdered flux designed for torch brazing aluminum and aluminum alloys. It effectively removes surface oxides, improves filler metal flow, and helps create strong, clean, and durable brazed joints. This flux is suitable for common aluminum alloys such as 1100, 3003, and 6061 and operates within a working temperature range of 915°F to 1115°F (491°C to 602°C).
Al-Braze® EC can be used as a dry powder or mixed with water, methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, or isopropyl alcohol to create a smooth, easy-to-apply paste. It is recommended for use with 4047 (718) and 4145 aluminum brazing filler metals, making it ideal for HVAC, refrigeration, automotive, and industrial aluminum brazing applications. For best results, remove any remaining flux residue after brazing.
