Sigma AC Stop Leak will permanently stop leaks in condensers, connection hoses, evaporators, gaskets and O-rings in systems that can hold 5 inches of vacuum for 25 minutes. It is not recommended for systems that lose more than 1 pound of freon per day or have leaking compressors. Sigma is 100% safe for all AC systems and will not damage the orifice tubes of recovery equipment.
Directions
- Turn the silver twist valve all the way in clockwise direction.
- Shake the can well.
- Attach the delivery system to the can by screwing the red adapter to the top of the can, puncturing the protective film.
- Start the car and turn the AC to maximum cooling.
- Attach the quick coupler to the low-side service port.
- Once the quick coupler is attached, check the gauge for accurate pressure reading. See the table to compare outside temperature to sufficient pressure in the system. If the gauge reading shows deficient pressure, slowly turn the twist valve counter-clockwise to release product.
- Hold the can in an upright position and gently shake it every 5 seconds while the system is being charged. It should take 5-12 minutes for the can to be empty.
- Check the gauge throughout the process to measure psi. The gauge reading is only accurate when the compressor is cycling. DO NOT OVERCHARGE! If the system pressure is still low, add more R-134A.
